A unique feature of these drives is the energy-saving algorithm that allows extra savings. In the case of the G7 inverter, the new 3-level architecture eliminates or minimizes the installation problems associated with IGBT switching. Thanks to the extensive market experience in lift and hoist applications, Omron-Yaskawa has developed specific inverters and firmware that satisfy all the requirements of this market. The L7Z lift inverter (with new safety hardware) is approved by TÜV to EN954-1 Safety Cat.3, Stop Cat.0, facilitating the design of a safe installation (e.g. to EN81-1 for lifts). The F7Z inverter can be supplied with specific crane functions.
